Hi, I’m your Local Loop Guide — mom of two, local event hunter, and the person who keeps way too many calendars. We moved to Walworth County in 2021 after living in a string of big cities, and I’ll be honest: at first it felt like I’d landed in the middle of nowhere. With two small kids, the quiet was overwhelming and I felt really alone. So I started searching — clubs, playgroups, library programs, anything that made this place feel alive. Slowly my calendar filled, and this “small town” started showing its pulse. It turns out Walworth County has more going on than most cities… you just have to know where to look. Now I’m the person people ask about what’s happening, and the more I get asked, the more I realize how many others are trying to connect and find their people. Local Loop is just my way of sharing that feeling — helping anyone who wants to plug in, feel at home, and discover how vibrant this community really is. See you around town!
